I sold Cut Throat T-shirts at raves and clubs up and down the country, including nights at Quest, Kinetic, Cue Club, Atomic Jam, Vision, Shelly’s Nightclub, and Foxes Nightclub. Each event gave me the chance to bring new designs directly to the crowd, with people wearing the shirts as part of the experience.
The brand became closely tied to the scene itself—raw, independent, and rooted in the culture—built from being there every weekend, selling, connecting, and creating in real time.

Basement
Basement was a skateboarding clothing brand I worked with around 1993–94, producing hand screen printed T-shirts featuring bold, street-driven designs. The artwork for the range was created by graffiti artist Temper, whose style brought a raw, urban edge to the brand.
My role was to translate these designs into print, using traditional techniques to ensure each piece retained the energy and authenticity of the original artwork. The collaboration reflected the crossover between skate culture and street art at the time, with every shirt carrying that underground, DIY spirit.
